A Collage Exhibition

Eligibility: This call is open to artists residing within the United States or Internationally. Both 2D and 3D artworks are eligible for this show but must be collage-related pieces.

Rochester Contemporary Art Center will soon host the multi-faceted collage exhibition Cut & Paste. This exhibition will bring together collage-related work by a range of established artists, emerging artists, art groups, and collectives from across the United States and Internationally.

We are currently accepting submissions to the juried portion of this exhibition. Both members and non-members are encouraged to apply. Interested artists may submit 1-3 collage-related artworks. Entries are due February 20th at 5pm.

Submission Requirements
Submitted works may be 2D or 3D but must be collage related pieces. Submitted works must be original and produced no earlier than 2016. Works previously displayed at RoCo are not permitted to be submitted for this exhibition. Works may be rejected for any reason including but not limited to: the work is too fragile; the work is improperly prepared for exhibit; or the work is damaged. Artwork submitted should respect copyright regulations if reproducing other's work, including magazine and newspaper photographs. Submission images must be less than 4MB each. Upon each submission, you will receive an email confirming that your image has been received. You may re-enter the call until the deadline to delete, change, and/or edit your submissions.

RoCo reserves the right to use photographs of exhibited work on its website/for any promotional purposes. 



Display
Works must be displayed throughout the entire length of the exhibition. All 2D artworks must be wired to hang and must not exceed 40" by 40" in size. All 3D artworks must be stable and able to sit on pedestals provided by the gallery. Any special requirements for hanging must be discussed with the Exhibitions Director in advance of delivery. 


Pick-up and Delivery
Artworks must be delivered by March 15 or postmarked by March 10. For international shipping, please provide filled out custom forms if needed. Regional artists must deliver works by March 15 and pick-up dates are May 11 or May 12. For artists outside the region, artworks must be postmarked by March 10 and arrive by March 15; RoCo will pay return shipping after the exhibition. RoCo is not responsible for the return of any artwork(s) if unclaimed during pick-up dates, or when no arrangements have been made. 


Commissions
Artists may, but are not required to, offer works for sale. A 25% commission will be charged and 75% will be paid to the artist. Commission checks will be mailed to the artist within 30 days of the exhibition closing date.
